JOB DESCRIPTION
THE JOB AT A GLANCE
Tiger Brands: Various Posts: You will perform various tasks to support the financial accountants, including, but not limited to, processing manual journals, reconciling balance sheet accounts and financial reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Prepare financial journals for processing
- Prepare month end GL reconciliations
- Reconciliation of CWIP account and management with site
- Assist with monthly and year end pack support.
- Assist with tax computations as required
- Assist with weekly profit estimates as required
- Approve and release AP payments
- Answers to queries, information, explanations and help as required.
- Other ad hoc requests as required
WHAT YOU WILL BE MEASURED ON: Tiger Brands: Various Posts
- Achieve accurate and complete GL closure on time for review.
- Achieve clean GL account reconciliations
- Achievement of all submissions on/before set deadlines
- Avoid/limit audit findings
QUALIFICATIONS
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE
Key attributes and competencies
- Accounting degree
- Strong communication skills
- Business analytical skills
- Proficient with Excel
Experience
- Newly qualified CA(SA) or CIMA graduate/ Accounting degree
+2 years total experience with 1-2 years accounting and administrative experience

THE JOB AT A GLANCE:
Managing the loading, despatching and reconciling of all products within our Bakeries space
RESPONSIBILITIES: Tiger Brands: Various Posts
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Receiving and processing of orders
- Consolidate orders on Excel
- Print load sheets
- Coordinate loading process
- Execute stock counts
- Preparation of reports
- Reconcile stock
- Filing and general office duties
ALSO SEE: Fidelity Service Group: Sales Consultant
- Safety and housekeeping
- Counting of baskets and crates
- Maintain and measure departmental objectives
- IR and discipline
- Manage time and attendance including overtime worked
- Control of staff sales and handling cash
- Ensure that trucks are clean.
- Adhere to Food Safety policy, work instructions and Food Safety procedure related to Dispatch.
QUALIFICATIONS
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Matric (or equivalent)
- 3 – 4 years experience in FMCG dispatch environment
- 1 – 3 years supervisory experience
- Numerical aptitude
- Product knowledge an advantage
- Computer literacy (MS Office- particularly excell) and Oracle
